Drainage Engineer
Location - Texas
Salaries range from $100k-$150k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, Bonus Schemes and ESOP plans.
Our Client:
- Venda Search are working with a US wide engineering firm that operate in pretty much everything transportation and water/wastewater.
- The role involves creating, authorizing, and drafting blueprints for ponds, storm drains, culverts, and roadside channels. The preferred candidate should possess the ability to recognize, articulate, and evaluate specific engineering challenges and possess foundational understanding of design concepts, principles, and theories related to transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, collect, and review data.
- Work on multi-million dollar projects.
- Take part in technical tasks involving planning, modelling, design, cost assessments, specification drafting, and obtaining permits.
- Employ specialized software to support analysis, design, and production of plans for stormwater systems.
- Assist in preparing detailed reports and documenting the approach to drainage design.
The successful candidate must have/show:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience working on TxDOT projects.
- Good experience with MicroStation or similar software.
- Strong experience with Drainage Design Software.
