The total value of state and local government highway and bridge contract awards in 2024 was $121 billion, a figure that has risen every year for the past 5 years. In 2024 about 50,000 bridges were deemed structurally unsound and as a result major work is going to have to be carried out in order to improve the integrity of these structures, keeping millions of people safe as they go about their everyday lives.

This is where you come in. Imagine running multiple crews in charge of creating safe foundations for these complex structures to be built. You'll be working for a growing contractor who have doubled their sales in the previous year, on track to double again with ambitions to keep growing year on year and reward those who came in at the early stages of this growth spurt.

They currently have multiple projects in North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia and Tennessee with ambitions to tackle more markets as they grow their operations.

They're looking for a General Superintendent with extensive experience in leading crews on Drilled Shaft projects. They want somebody who is organized, personable and assertive who can get the job complete ahead of schedule, on budget with an emphasis on safety. You'll be reporting directly to Upper Management and will also be on the fast track to creating a position within that level of the business as they grow over the next 5 years.

They're about to complete an important job in Raleigh, NC which is projected to last 18 months. Upon completion of this project you'll be able to choose where you want to go next with all travel expenses covered, a perdium for your daily expenses and a dependable crew to mould into your own
