Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of construction projects from planning and design to execution and closeout.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets based on project requirements and client specifications.
- Oversee project activities to ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and address concerns.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to clients and management, highlighting key milestones, issues, and risks.
Candidate Skills:
- Experience in managing a variety of construction projects across different sectors, including but not limited to Commercial, Residential construction projects, Industrial, and Institutional construction projects
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing complex projects and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and best practices related to various construction sectors.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards applicable to construction projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in construction management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
