CEI Senior Inspector
Location – Jacksonville, Tampa, Punta Gorda, Palm City, Miami.
Salaries range from $35-$40 p/h plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, Bonus Schemes and ESOP.
Our client:
Venda Search are working with several reputable Engineering Firms across Florida who are searching for experienced CEI Senior Inspectors to engage in FDOT & local Municipality Transportation projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Monitor and document construction progress, including materials used, workmanship, and adherence to schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues and ensure project milestones are met.
- Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Provide mentorship to Junior Inspectors.
The successful candidate must have/show:
- Strong CEI background, with experience in Transportation projects.
- Strong knowledge of FDOT specifications and standards.
- Highly motivated, can work well in a team and with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with project stakeholders.
- Certifications via FDOT, CTQP and/or ACI.
