Transmission Engineering Manager
Location – Remote (United States)
Salaries range from $150k - $175k plus 401k, Health Insurance, PTO, Bonus Schemes and Long Term Ownership Plan.
About the Client
The client are developer of HVDC transmission lines across North America. This role can be filled by a candidate anywhere in the US with some expectation for travel to visit site and meet clients will be needed. This is a great opportunity to work on high value, innovative and complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead transmission design processes collaborating with both internal and external engineers and consultants.
Produce project plans including scope, schedule and budgets.
Assist in the development of technical specifications for our projects.
Prepare presentations and reports.
Support the Business Unit in business development including fostering relationships with existing clients, preparing proposals for new work, identifying market areas and pitching clients.
Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
Conduct site visits, field assessments and client engagement meetings.
The successful candidate must have / show
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
At least 5+ years experience within the transmission line space and a strong knowledge of design, construction and project management.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to regularly communicate with clients.
PE and PMP aren’t essential but preferred.
Ability to travel when needed.
